The Haven is designed to be a permanent home for veterans 60 and older who are facing homelessness. More than just a roof and four walls, it is a place where stability and compassion meet. Every resident is welcomed into a safe and supportive environment where their daily needs are met—nutritious meals, healthcare assistance, and mental health support. Just as important, The Haven provides connection: transportation for appointments and errands, meaningful social activities, and a strong sense of community life where veterans can build friendships and find purpose again. Here, dignity is restored, isolation is replaced with belonging, and every veteran is reminded that they are not forgotten.
Who Is Eligible?
The Haven is open to veterans who are 60 years of age or older and are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. If a veteran is in need of long-term stability, holistic care, and the embrace of a supportive community, The Haven is here to ensure their latter years become their best years—filled with dignity, care, and connection.
How It Works
- Apply & Interview – Veterans (or their families) begin by completing an intake application and interview.
- Application Review – Our team carefully reviews the application to assess needs and eligibility.
- Acceptance & Move-In – Once accepted, the veteran and their family are notified, and the veteran is welcomed into MAT 25:35 Haven for Homeless Veterans for permanent housing and care.

Permanent Housing & Nutritious Meals
At The Haven, veterans find safe, stable housing where they can settle for the long term. Every resident is provided with daily nutritious meals, creating security and dignity in their later years.
Whole-Person Wellness
Wellness, Healthcare, Mental Health & Awareness
We care for the mind, body, and spirit. Veterans receive support through healthcare assistance, counseling resources, and mental health awareness programs to strengthen overall well-being.
